Sirastudio 2018

More and more organisations have started to invest and engage with online viewers by posting videos on their websites. Short films are an excellent way to reach those who learn experientially and those who are time-poor. Once the link is viewed and potentially shared, a wider audience can become aware of the project, product or cause – and get involved. Because the average brain is more capable of remembering pictures and sounds than words and letters, videos is a key tool for education and marketing. A familiar graphic, catchy...

The Speed of the Story Sirastudio, Professional Photographers and Video Production in Harrogate

Having a video available and accessible within hours of an event is increasingly key to marketing an event. That said, it couldn’t be more important to choose a video production company that knows how to direct, shoot and edit a story together to make the visuals and the narrative flow: to create interest, to add a PR twist, and to make videos watchable and share-able themselves, to maximise speed of delivery. A perfect example of how to make a video go viral was our experience of making the Great Knaresborough Bed Race official...

On the second Saturday in June, 90 teams race ‘beds’ through the streets of Knaresborough. Raising around £100,000 for charities each year, it’s probably the biggest charity event in Yorkshire, and definitely one of the zaniest in the world. Organised by Knaresborough Lions, the event has been running for 48 years. It is sponsored by local firms and supported far and wide. Around 25,000 people pack into the historic, picturesque town to see the decorated beds in the grounds of Knaresborough Castle before the beds are paraded...

Designers call for Early Years Educators to put healthy food preparation back on the curriculum In the UK, children’s issues with food – whether they are over-eating or under-eating – are hot topics. Obesity levels in children are alarmingly high across the nation and although the reasons are complex, Yorkshire design company KanGarRoo believes that the time has come for pre-school and primary school educators to take a greater role in educating young children in healthy food preparation and social eating activities. Sharing videos on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, on your website and by email – can dramatically  improve your visibility and quickly increase your audience and your Google ranking.
