Jo and Chris chose us to be their wedding photographers at St John’s Church in Knaresborough and then afterwards for a reception at Ripley Castle because they loved our style, we were local, we were male and female professional photographers, they liked us as people, we offered digital files on CD, and because the package we were offering was excellent value for money.
For Jo and Chris, we photographed bridal and groom preparations at their homes, guests in a reportage style in the church grounds and for the confetti shot; and then headed over to Ripley Castle. While guests enjoyed champagne and canapes, we took the bride and groom away for 30 minutes, for an intimate photo shoot by the lake.
Although we only had half an hour for the romantic photo shoot, we got some great shots using a variety of lenses, positions and angles. Jo and Chris said that the mini photo-shoot was a great opportunity to spend a little quiet time together on the day too, which is a lovely memory for them when they are looking back at the photographs in their luxurious photo album, and online, in years to come.
A beautiful day with some iconic photos of a wedding at Ripley Castle.
