Ellie and Chris were married at Christ Church on the Stray, in Harrogate. After a beautiful service organised by the lovely Jill, and conducted by Nicholas, one of the most extraordinary clergymen we have ever met, their Rolls Royce took them up to Wood Hall – an amazing wedding venue on the outskirts of Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The rain gave way to a crisp November afternoon and a swift but incredible sunset that we just couldn’t let go without whisking bride and groom back outside for another 5 minutes to capture the moment.
Like most of our wedding couples, Ellie and Chris commissioned us to take photographs of bridal preparations. Having a female as well as a male photographer is a real benefit – especially on wedding mornings – all girls together means total comfort in the dressing room for the bridal party. It also helps with the timings of the day that before the service, one of us can take official wedding photos of the bride, bridesmaids and mum and dad, while the other photographer takes photos of the groom party at the church or other place of marriage ceremony. From the service onwards, we then work together as a 2-photographer team to provide a comprehensive but unobtrusive blend of set-up and reportage photography that presents a complete overview of the day’s emotions and events. We designed and produced a beautiful album for Ellie and Chris. It has a wrap-around cover, unlimited photographs in montages and double-page spreads, exquisite flat-hinged pages and sumptuously thick pages.
“Rachael and Simon at Sira Studio were recommended to us and I’m so pleased that they were! They are professional but friendly company who really listen to what the client wants and nothing is too much trouble. We met with them several times before our wedding to talk about what we wanted and also to look at our venue and on the day we found them to be quick and unobtrusive. We are so pleased with the photos that you produced and have had wonderful comments about the quality and range of shots and cannot thank you enough. We have recommended you already to our friends and colleagues”
